COMPAIRING DENTAL IDENTIFIER CHARTING INCBCT & PR USING INTERPOL CODING

This project aims to compare dental identifier charting in CBCT and PR using Inetrpool coding. Teeth with act as a major source of DNA because of their ability to withstand to undergo changes. Here we compared different parameters of the teeth like the number of teeth, Restoration and prosthesis, Dental caries, Malposition and Rotation, Anomalous tooth formation, and Root canal therapy. The X-ray images are segmented using different methods which further go through contour and feature extraction before checking its matching.

**The Theory behind forensic dentistry is that no two mouths are alike (even identical twins are different) and that teeth, like tools, leave recognizable marks.
